Orthodontic Assistant
I became a Certified Dental Assistant in 2016. My first dental assisting job was at a periodontist office in Clemson, SC. I had always wanted to work in orthodontics, and when I moved to Shelby I had the opportunity to pursue this passion. Aside from the dental field, I am also a Specialist (E4) in the Army National Guard. I completed my Basic Training in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. As a Bridge Crew-Member, we build various types of bridges but mostly construct Float Bridges. It has been a wonderful experience to be in the military and meet so many amazing people.

Orthodontic Assistant
I began my career in orthodontics in 1993. As a trained orthodontic assistant, I am able to assist in all clinical procedures, perform lab duties, and take x-ray images for our patients. I enjoy working with our amazing team and creating smiles. In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and our sons. We enjoy working in our yard, doing projects around the house, and hanging out with friends.

In 2017, I attended a dental assistant training school in Charlotte where I received my certificates for DA & Radiology. I have always had an interest in all aspects of the dental field and being able to work reception in an orthodontic office has proven to be an excellent way for me to branch out into the career that I’ve always dreamt of. In my spare time I really enjoy spending quality time with my husband, our fur babies, and our closest family and friends.
